What is REJURAN®?

Rejuran is a new concept skin biorevitalization that promotes favourable regeneration of cells from deep within the skin, it is a skin rejuvenating treatment made of Polynucleotides which are DNA fragments of specific size derived from wild salmon. It’s promotes excellent recovering effect, promotes the secretion of collagen and restores extra cellular matrix to recover thin and damaged skin inside caused by aging, improves pigmentation and overall brightness of the complexion which is helpful in recovering the tonicity and luminosity of smoother skin texture.

What are Polynucleotides (PN)?

Polynucleotide (PN), the core component of REJURAN® is a specific standard of DNA fragment extracted from wild salmon managed by the company's patent technology, DOT™.

Polynucleotide (PN) in REJURAN® is extracted from wild salmon DNA, which has been proven to be the most compatible to human skin without causing any adverse side effects.

Are there any considerations before undergoing Restylane' and Restylane® Skinboosters™ treatment?

Your doctor should make a complete assessment of your medical history prior to recommending treatment with Restylane / Restylane Skinboosters™. Do let your doctor know if you are pregnant， breastfeeding, have any drug allergies, medical conditions, are on any medications, or have undergone prior medical treatments or procedures.

What do Restylane® treatments involve? How long is the treatment?

For Restylane® a typical treatment consists of one or two sessions. Your doctor may recommend a suitable maintenance schedule depending on the area treated and your expectations. Whereas for Restylane Skinboosters™ a typical treatment consists of three initial treatment sessions. each 2-4weeks apart. followed by maintenance sessions at intervals of 4-6 months.

How long is the treatment?

Depending on complexity of treatment and clinic workflow, treatment time may take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Will I experience pain during injection?

As with any injection and depending on the individual, the procedure may cause slight pain and stinging. Numbing medication may be applied on the skin to minimise discomfort, and the products contain local anaesthetic as well. Please discuss with your doctor on your concerns prior to treatment.

What do I need to take note of after the treatment?

Restylane® treatments involve minimal downtime. You may resume normal daily activities immediately after treatment. However, until all initial swelling and redness or discomfort have resolved completely, avoid facial massages and exposure to excessive heat. e.g. saunas and hot springs. Do speak to your doctor if you have any queries on activities to avoid.

How long does a Restylane® treatment last?

Restylane® is long-lasting but not permanent. After the initial treatment, follow-up sessions are normally recommended. For example, a study has shown that satisfactory effects on the nasolabial fold can last up to 36 months with a follow up treatment at 18 months.4 The lasting effect of Restylane' treatment is dependent on the individual's metabolism and lifestyle Your doctor may recommend the appropriate follow-up treatment based on your lifestyle and preference.

Are there any side effects for Restylane®?

As with all HA filler treatments, side effects may occur in association with treatment. These side effects are usually temporary and mild to moderate, including transient reactions such as redness, pain, swelling, bruising and/or bumps at the injection sites. If you experience any persistent or worsening side effects, consult your doctor for further medical advice.

How frequent is the treatment required?

REJURAN® is not like conventional fillers or laser treatments. It works by promoting favourable physiological conditions for the skin's own regenerative ability to restore own collagen structure and increase skin elasticity. This allows your skin to recover with a course of 4 treatments with intervals of 3-4 weeks between sessions, followed by a treatment every six months to nurture a healthy skin condition.

Can I continue my daily lifestyle after the treatment?

While there may be some initial slight swelling or papules on the treated areas immediately after REJURAN® treatment this will subside within 24 hours and you can go about your day activities as usual.

Which part of the skin will benefit the most from this treatment?

For best results, the treatment should cover your entire face rather than just the eye region. REJURAN® improves aging and damaged skin.

Does the treatment cause any adverse side effect?

Composed of highly bio-compatible DNA fragments, REJURAN® fundamentally restores the skin without any side effects. It is also completely safe and effective for areas that are difficult to treat with hyaluronic acid filler or toxin.

Does frequent aesthetic treatment cause the skin to become thin and sensitive?

Not when receiving treatment from REJURAN®. Utilizing the main ingredient, PN, it has a dose-dependent effect that will make your skin fully saturate and derive optimal benefits.
